An air-to-air heat pump is the same equipment as a reverse-cycle air conditioner, so installing one is our core trade. We start with a survey to understand your rooms, insulation, glazing and where units can go. We then specify the system, agree the layout with you, and carry out a clean, safe installation — including all refrigerant handling, which by law must be done by suitably certified engineers.

Because we would rather you had the real numbers than a sales line: the Boiler Upgrade Scheme is worth £7,500 towards an air-to-water or ground-source heat pump in England and Wales, and runs until 31 March 2028. For homes off the gas grid — heated by oil, LPG or electric-only heating — the grant rises to £9,000 for vouchers issued between 21 July 2026 and 31 March 2027. The scheme is administered by Ofgem and claimed by the installer on your behalf, so it comes off the installation invoice rather than being paid to you.

To be equally clear: none of this applies to the air-to-air systems we install. Air conditioning is not BUS-eligible, and we never claim a grant for air conditioning that does not exist. But if your Surrey home heats with oil or LPG and you are weighing an air-to-water heat pump for your central heating — perhaps alongside air-to-air for summer cooling — those are the accurate figures to plan with.
